Program Assistant
Overview
The Program Assistant supports the Good As Gold Foundation by providing administrative, organizational, and program support to ensure smooth execution of workshops, events, and daily operations. This role involves close collaboration with staff, volunteers, and community partners, while helping advance the foundation’s mission.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Program Support
• Assist with coordination and delivery of foundation programs and events.
• Help prepare workshop materials, sign-up forms, slides, and event communications as needed.
• Support Golden Speaker coordination as needed.
• Manage workshop surveys, sign ups, compile feedback, and assist with follow-up communications.
Administrative & Board Support
• Take meeting minutes for each board meeting, ensure meetings are recorded, and send post-meeting overviews with to-do lists.
• Draft and send email correspondence as needed.
• Maintain program calendars, schedules, and documentation.
• Assist the Program Director and Program Coordinator with assigned tasks as needed.
Marketing & Outreach
• Coordinate with Araks Brand for newsletters, website updates, Google ads, and other marketing needs.
Volunteer Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, ensuring clear communication and direction.
• Assist with volunteer scheduling and engagement to support program and event needs.
Reporting & Communication
• Provide weekly status updates on work and progress to the Founders.
• Be in attendance at all weekly Board Meetings, actively supporting communication and follow-up.
Program Assistant Compensation
The Program Assistant role is a part-time support position estimated at 8-10 hours of work per month.
Compensation will be provided as a flat stipend of $200 per month, equivalent to approximately $20–$25 per hour based on experience. Additional bonuses may be offered for events and fundraisers. This rate reflects the anticipated time commitment for program support, administrative assistance, volunteer coordination, and marketing tasks outlined in the job description
Program Implementor
Overview
The Program Implementor is responsible for leading the successful planning, coordination, and execution of the Good As Gold Foundation’s Golden Workshops and related programs. This role ensures that each workshop is delivered smoothly from start to finish, supporting both the Golden Speakers and participants while upholding the mission and values of the foundation.
The Program Implementor manages all phases of the workshop process from speaker coordination and promotional efforts to live facilitation and participant follow-up. This position requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks such as event planning, marketing, and community engagement.
Workshop Planning & Coordination
• Prepare and host Virtual Golden Workshops for the Good as Gold Network.
• Coordinate with Golden Speakers using the official Good as Gold email (CC: admin@goodasgoldfoundation.org on all correspondence).
• Contact with assigned Golden Speakers within 24–48 hours of receiving their information.
• Ensure each Golden Speaker prepares a 40-minute presentation.
• Collect professional photo and bio from each Golden Speaker.
Logistics & Administration
• Create Zoom link for each workshop and add it to the Good As Gold Google Calendar, inviting all Golden Speakers.
• Develop a Google Form sign-up sheet for participants.
• Set up automated confirmation emails for sign-ups including zoom link and workshop details.
• Update the Good As Gold Foundation website with workshop description, sign-up link, and flyer
Marketing & Promotion
• Design and post promotional flyers.
• Begin promotion at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop date.
• Post on Instagram main page once per week leading up to the event.
• Share on Instagram Stories 3 times per week, including the sign-up link.
Presentation Materials
• Prepare workshop presentation, including:
o Good As Gold Foundation Mission Slide
o Workshop Overview Slide
o Golden Speaker Introduction Slide (with picture/bio)
o GAGF Contact Information Slide
• Curate a music playlist for workshop sessions.
Participant Engagement & Follow-Up
• Create a feedback survey for participants and Automated response (via Google Forms)
• Send post-workshop follow-up email, including:
o Thank-you message to participants
o Golden Speaker contact information
o Additional resources and important links
Reporting & Communication
• Provide weekly status updates on workshop planning and progress to the Founders.
Golden Workshop Compensation Structure
This compensation schedule is designed to recognize 6–8 hours of preparation, coordination, promotion, live facilitation and follow-up required to successfully deliver each Golden Workshop.
Standard Rate
• $200 – Single Workshop (1 hour session)
Series Rates
• $300 – 2-Part Workshop Series (1 hour each)
• $400 – 2-Part Workshop Series (2 hours each)
• $450 – 3-Part Workshop Series (1 hour each)
