DESCRIPTION:Join the Good as Gold Foundation for our 2nd Annual Be Gold Community Celebration\, a day dedicated to celebrating community\, youth achievement\, and the start of a new school year! \nBring the whole family for an afternoon filled with fun\, resources\, and excitement as we celebrate the conclusion of our inaugural Flag Motion League season and help students prepare for a successful school year. \nEvent Details\n\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026\n11:00 AM – 3:00 PM\nSmith Recreation Center\n2100 S. 24th Street\, Philadelphia\, PA 19145\n\nWhat to Expect\n🏈 Flag Motion League Championship Game Day\nCheer on our Flag Motion League participants as they compete in the championship and celebrate the completion of our free three-week youth development program\, which combines flag football\, financial literacy\, character development\, and mentorship. \n🎒 Back-to-School Giveaway\nFamilies will have access to free school supplies and educational resources to help students start the school year prepared and confident. (Available while supplies last.) \n🎉 Community Celebration \n\nFamily-friendly activities\nMusic and entertainment\nCommunity resource vendors\nGiveaways\nFood\nAnd more!\n\nImportant Information\n\nThis event is FREE and open to the community.\nRegistration is encouraged but not required.
